Bulk Water Station

Northwestern Water & Sewer District understands the need for quality potable water in the rural areas of Wood County beyond the reach of existing waterlines. To provide bulk water for customers in those areas, we have established permanent  and seasonal (April-Oct.) bulk water stations depending on the location (see flyer below).

(UPDATE: October, 2011) The seasonal bulk water stations at 12560 Middleton Pike (District's Operation Facility) and 23615 Lemoyne Road (Luckey Farmers Facility) are now closed.  We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you in the spring. Our permanent sites remain open 24/7 (WC Landfill, Water Tower sites at  Weston, Bays Road & CSX).

SAFE POTABLE WATER
The water from the bulk water stations is safe for personal uses such as filling pools and cisterns and is also suitable for commercial and agricultural use. The water stations employ modern technology and safe equipment such as  backflow prevention devices to protect against contamination during filling and loading.

SAFE OFF-ROAD ACCESS FOR TRUCKS & TRAILERS
The bulk water dispensing sites have been chosen specifically to provide safe access for large trucks and trailers. The driveway at each site is designed to handle farm trucks, trailers, and tractor trailer tankers with plenty of driveway turning radius.

LOW COST
Water will cost $8.00 per 1,000 gallons purchased. This will be the minimum amount billed per transaction.

EASY TO USE
Water is purchased at the bulk water stations using the District's plastic access card.  Simple and easy to use, the card is similar to a bank's ATM card, with a PIN number to ensure safe, secure access. The same card can be used at both locations.

    • Your account will be billed monthly, with all bills due by the middle of the following month.
    • Accounts will be billed a late fee if paid past the due date.
    • A one-time set up fee of $8.00 per card will be billed the first month.
Contact our office to set up your account and order your plastic access card.
