Northwestern Water and Sewer District Projects
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio
The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (The District) delivers water and sewer services to over 19,000 customers in Wood, Sandusky, and Hancock counties. Although many of our construction and maintenance projects are performed underground, our utility work can impact roads throughout our service area. The District will announce updates when additional projects are under contract. Updates and additions are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Middleton and Plain Townships – Potter Road Waterline Installation
Through July, restoration work continues on Potter Road from Poe Road to Long-Judson Road with minimal impact to traffic. Project complete: July.
Millbury – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through August, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout the Village of Millbury for sewer work and manhole repairs. Project complete: August.
Perrysburg Township – Rockledge Subdivision
Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible in the Rockledge subdivision for waterline installation. Local access will be maintained. Project complete: September.
Perrysburg Township – Hamlet Waterline Replacement
Waterline work in the Hamlet Subdivision is now complete.
Perrysburg Township – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through October, short-term intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout Perrysburg Township, north of SR 795, for sewer work and manhole repair. Project complete: October.
Rossford & Perrysburg Township – Waterline Replacement
Effective today, through 5 pm, Dixie Highway (SR 65) at Vineyard Street in Rossford is closed for waterline relocation. Detour: Bates Road; Buck Road; Glenwood Road. Through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Vineyard and Groce Streets in Rossford and on Riverbend Court and White Street in Perrysburg Township for waterline replacement. Project complete: August.
Other Projects
McComb Waterline Replacement
ThroughAugust, short-term intermittent lane restrictions are possible on South Park Drive between Preble Street and Southcrest Drive for restoration work. Work complete: August.
McComb Waterline Maintenance
through July, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Shady Acres between W. Main Street to W. South Street and on W. South Street between Shady Acres to High Street for restoration. Work complete: July.
Hydrant Flushing
Through August, on weekdays from 8 am until 3:30 pm, crews will be flushing and testing fire hydrants in Perrysburg Township, Rossford, Northwood, Walbridge, Lake Township, and Troy Township.
