Engineering Internship

Job Description

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District will be accepting applications until December 29, 2022 for the position of temporary full-time/part-time ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP.  Wage is $15.00 per hour.  Candidates should have completed a minimum of the 2nd year of a 4 or 5-year accredited civil engineering or construction management curriculum from a college or university.  Additionally, candidates must have successfully completed basic civil engineering or construction management coursework.  Basic AutoCAD course work must be completed or demonstrated equivalent competency.  Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.  Candidates must be able to read and understand engineering plans.

The District participates in the Ohio Public Employment Retirement System
program. The employee contributes 10% of their salary towards their retirement.  The employer contributes an amount equal to 14% of the employee’s salary. Paid holiday(s) if the employee is scheduled to work.  The employee would also earn sick time.

Job Related Qualifications
