Change
Our neighboring properties are undergoing major changes. The Wood County Port Authority began construction on a new roundabout in front of our facility, which will temporarily and permanently change our access.
But that change is small compared to the activity just north of us on SR 582, which is preparing for the construction of Project Accordion’s new data center. A turn lane was recently added on SR 25, and once the roundabout on SR 582 is completed, a new access road will soon be underway just east of our building.
If you have recently driven the section of SR 582 between SR 25 and I-75 to get to our office, you may have noticed the differences and have not been able to drive east of our building. That will change in a few weeks, as the new roundabout on SR 582 is expected to open by the end of November. But the area will never look the same!
And it is for the better. The new roundabout will improve traffic safety for customers and staff driving to and from our office. With the anticipated impact of Project Accordion’s construction, the workers on site will come and go safer, as will their trucks, deliveries, etc. The improvements on SR 25 will make traffic flow safer for all there, too!
So, be patient if you come through this area in the next few weeks. It will look different, and it is for the better!
