Heading South for The Winter?

Planning to spend the winter months away from home? We’d love to help you save by turning your water service off while you’re gone. You won’t have to pay minimum monthly charges during your absence. There’s no cost to schedule a shut-off or restore your service when you come back, and our team is happy to make it easy for you. You should winterize your plumbing to keep your pipes from breaking, so this may not be a good option if you are gone for only a few weeks. Simply give us a call at least seven days before you depart or return to schedule a shut-off or turn-on date.

Fall Water Saving Tips

As the days grow shorter and temperatures begin to dip, it’s a great time to think about saving money on your water and sewer bill. Here are a few helpful tips:

  • Water your lawns and gardens less since plants need less water in the fall.
  • Winterize your sprinkler system before the first freeze to prevent costly damage.
  • Consider hiring a certified professional to ensure your irrigation is properly winterized.

These simple steps can protect your home and help lower your bills this season.

Supporting our Workforce

At The District, we're all about providing you with clean, safe water and dependable sewer services. This starts with our amazing, local team, who work tirelessly to keep our systems running smoothly. This summer, eight operators earned 17 new Ohio EPA water and sewer licenses—proof of their commitment to excellence.

These licenses aren’t just certificates; they represent hours of training, study, and dedication to mastering the skills needed to maintain our water and wastewater systems. We also appreciate our management team, who helped guide staff through the coursework necessary for their certification. A well-trained team like ours brings real benefits to you: safer water and fewer issues. Next time you turn on the tap or flush, know that our skilled professionals are behind the scenes, ensuring everything flows perfectly.
