Statement of of Qualifications: Engineering/Planning Services

The Board of Trustees of the Northwestern Water and Sewer District will receive Statements of Qualifications from interested design firms for engineering, and/or planning services until 4:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Firms interested in being considered for contracts to provide design services for various water and sewer projects should submit a Statement of Qualifications, which should include information regarding the firm’s competence to perform professional design services indicated by the technical training, education, and experience of the firm’s personnel, particularly those persons who would be assigned to perform services in the District. Statements should also include information relative to the firm’s experience in preparing various state and federal grant and loan program applications for funding of these water and sanitary sewer projects; workload and availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and facilities to perform the required professional design services competently and expeditiously; and past performance of the firm as reflected by the evaluations of previous clients with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and meeting of deadlines. Statements shall also address the firm’s ability to submit projects in electronic format and the firm’s familiarity with the District, including previous experience with the District and other public agencies in Wood County, Ohio.  For information regarding the contents of your submission, please contact Stephanie Keefer or Tom Stalter in the Engineering Department: email Stephanie or email Tom.

The Board of Trustees will select firms to be notified of specific pending projects during calendar years 2021-2022. Firms selected based on Statement of Qualifications will be notified by the Clerk of the Board of Trustees when a contract for a specific project with an estimated design fee of more than $50,000 becomes available for submission of more specific qualifications. No other notification will be made. Firms are encouraged to update their Statement of Qualifications as they deem appropriate.
