Until further notice, there is one lane of traffic on northbound Superior Street, from Bacon Street to Glenwood Avenue in Rossford. Limited parking is available on northbound Superior Street near Rossford Junior-High School.
Additional repairs are planned for next week to replace the damaged pipe section. Crews are in the process of acquiring materials for this work.
According to District records, the existing 18-inch water line was installed in 1967. The age of the pipe may have contributed to the cause of the leak. Due to the uncommon pipe size, material availability and the repair schedule may be impacted.
An updated timeline for next week’s repairs will be announced once details are finalized.
We appreciate the community's patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.
