The District cleans water for over 19,000 residential and commercial customers in Wood, Hancock, Henry, and Sandusky counties. Each day we move and or treat approximately 5.5 million gallons of wastewater across Northwest Ohio.
Depending on where you live, The District either treats your wastewater at one of our lagoons or water reclamation plants. We also transport wastewater to larger treatment plants to be treated. The District works with many wastewater treatment providers, including the cities of Bowling Green, Toledo, Fostoria, Perrysburg, and Oregon, in addition to sending water to be cleaned by Lucas County.
The District is proud our latest water reclamation facility is operational in the Village of McComb. To read more check out the link below or take the self-guided tour.
