Why We Choose to Work in the Office

Why We Choose to Work in the Office

Besides a short period during the height of the COVID crisis, our staff has continued working in our office. We took safety steps to protect ourselves, but we all knew the best way for us to do our jobs was by working here in the office. Not at home working remotely. And we are most comfortable with that!

Many of you found yourselves in the same situation. Some of you still work remotely, while others have returned to work sites permanently. But for us, we need to be in the offices working each day. Our phones ring, and customers visit our building looking for service. We are here for them.

We also support our field employees operating our water and sewer systems. There is nothing better we can do for them but to be near, respond to their needs, and give them the support they need to do their jobs and provide services to you, the customer!

Like many consumers, I need to call my bank, insurance company, utility providers, and other government offices occasionally. It is sometimes challenging to reach a live person on the phone. I don’t know if they are busy, understaffed, not in their office, or working from home.

Whatever other customer service providers are doing, they do not do it as well as us and as timely as we do! You get a live voice within a few rings of calling us here and a timely response to your questions. Whether that is because we are here, I don’t know, but we are! And will continue to be, NOT working remotely!

BTW we are accessible on social media, too, if that works for you!
